Final Reflection

                           what I learned by doing my research paper is to incorporate work cited sources with a page number and use quote sandwich. My understanding of college-level research changed is if I were to do another research paper all plan your time accordingly. To a future student who wants to complete a successful research paper for ENG 103 have more than 4 sources and incorporate quotes from to support your thesis. What I wish I knew at the beginning of the course is having a framing quote. What was harder than I expected is researching sources to fit the thesis of my paper and making sure they are suitable.What I could've done differently is begin my milestone 5 a lot sooner than later because time is short. For the week I had before submitting , I could've wrote paragraphs each day to make it less stressful at the end.

My Final Research Paper Game Plan

 During the next week, I need to work on adding more cites and adding MLA page numbers including last name in top right corner to finish my research paper. Two areas of my paper that need the most work is to fix any missed quotes as they're missing the author of the article whenever I state it to support my point. The second one being that I need to add more research to fully strengthen my paper and fill in any missing cites for my work cited page. When writing a six- seven paper I plan to write 2-3 paragraphs a day so that way I don't have to stress my paper on the last day to combine all the ideas.

Close Reading of Film Stills in ???????

                        Both of the film stills I choose are stills from the movie Bicentennial Man that take place from middle to end. The first in which Andrew is at the hospital making his final visit to the little miss who is making her final rest. The second still takes place towards the end where he finally achieves validatity of humanity. In the film still where Andrew is with little miss, he feels sad and acknowledges that he will last forever while the family he served since activation is gone. Due to this it make him wonder why people have to die. The conflict is with the passing of little miss he feels compelled to become fully human. AS shown in the second still where Andrew is now old is a scene where he is at the court to validate his humanity after 200 years. The emotion shown is concern for whether or not he'll be accepted as a mortal like everyone else. His conflict is after all the progress he's made to achive such state is if it counts for something more. How this would serve as evidence for my paper is it would help me out for robot rights because its something the is clearly hinted in the film.

Welcome

      I'm very optimistic when it comes to achieving my goals and persistent in doing so. My educational and career goals hopefully to get 3.0 this academic year so I can go to City College Of New York in pursuit of public relations. I'm very into certain science fiction movies and comic based movies. My number one science fiction film is definitely The Terminator as I've a huge fan of the franchise. It's lore is fascinating to invest in as you're open to so many question about machines having the ability to become self aware. I've collect several comics based on the franchise as well because every time I watch Terminator I'm eager to learn more about the universe. I consider myself a comic book fanatic as well. I've been collecting and reading comics since 2011 to the point where I'm running out of space. The comic I'm a big fan of may seem pretty generic but its definitely Batman. When it comes to technology I'm an optimist because we are living in a digital era in which we have to eventually evolve. By evolve I mean explore other types of mechanics that can improve our live by a whole lot. I remember last semester I was watching an ad by Microsoft introducing the world the holograms. Back then holograms were merely a dream now turned into a reality. There was science convention in which they display 3D printing food. Technology can do amazing wonder now and days. Most people today are probably in between, some believe we've gotten lazy and forgot to do things ourselves. Other find that technology has found ways to improve our lives a whole lot better.
